Championship side Middlesbrough have parted company with manager Garry Monk just six months after he was appointed.
The former Swansea and Leeds United boss took charge in June and was tasked with leading the side to promotion back to the Premier League.
Middlesbrough are ninth in the Championship and have won 10 of their 23 league games.
News of Monk’s departure was announced on the club’s Twitter feed just hours after a 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday.
